Volunteering

Volunteers have driven the restoration of the Droitwich Canals since the establishment of the Canals Trust in 1976 and volunteer activities continue to be vital today.

There are lots of ways to get involved with the restoration including as a;

  • Restoration Volunteer
  • Fundraising Volunteer
  • Events Volunteer
  • Education Volunteer

Corporate or Groups
We are able to organise and support groups of volunteers from any background to get involved in the restoration.

Examples include

  • N Power volunteers helping to restore a weir
  • Churches together from all over Droitwich reed planting at Coney Meadow
  • Young fire-fighters puddling clay in new habitat ponds

No experience is required and there is no time commitment. All tools are provided but for the practical work if you have safety work boots, please bring them along.
