Construction Submission
What you need to do
Once you have completed the Network Access Agreement (and other relevant agreements if required) you should:
- read the Construction pages of Your Scheme on this website.
- continue to liaise with us in preparing your Construction Submission.
When we have resolved any issues you should send us your completed DCA_Submission_Proforma (DOC 51K) and information .
What we will do
We will appraise your submission and report in writing to you within 6 weeks of receiving your submission.
We will tell you whether your Construction Submission is satisfactory.
Once construction commences
You will need to notify us of any significant changes to your programme of works and give us sufficient notice of the stages in the Construction Submission and make arrangements with our nominated engineer as required.
We will monitor and inspect the relevant works and conduct the stilling test (test of water-tightness).
The actual opening of the navigable access between your site and our waterway will only be allowed when the stilling test (test of water-tightness) has been completed to our satisfaction.
