Dates For The 2009 Crick Boat Show Confirmed

The dates for the 2009 Crick Boat Show have been confirmed. Once again the show will take place on the Grand Union Canal at the magnificent Crick Marina on the May Bank Holiday weekend, 23 to 25 May 2009.

British Waterways is delighted to be working in partnership with Richmond Event Management for the third year running on what many people consider to be the best inland boat show in the country. The show is a firm favourite in the national events calendar and celebrates all things connected with Britain’s beautiful and unique canal network, and so much more.

Plans for the 2009 show are well underway and will include free canal trips, live music, children’s entertainments, dozens of canal boats and historic craft, colourful characters and performers, street theatre, trade stands, exhibitions, lectures, tasty food, antiques and collectables, and more than a few surprises.

Chris Stanley, marketing manager for British Waterways South East, comments: “Exhibition guides and booking forms are being distributed, with a variety of incentives for exhibitors wishing to appear at the 2009 Show. Despite the current economic climate there is already a lot of interest and anyone who wishes to exhibit at the 2009 Show is advised to book early to avoid disappointment.”
