Caledonian Canal
The completion of the ten year £20 million lock stabilisation programme on the Caledonian Canal has secured the long-term future of the waterway and provided a platform to continue to explore the development of a range of freight opportunities. For the first time in many years the full length of the Caledonian canal is now open for business over 12 months each year, an achievement we wish to maintain.
