The Glasgow canal corridor is a key regeneration project stretching from Glasgow City Centre to Anniesland. A planning application for a residential development at the Port Dundas re-connection site was submitted in 2005 and consent is expected in early 2006 with works commencing soon after. A planning application will also be submitted for further residential development at New Rotterdam Wharf in Glasgow City Centre.

These projects include BW land and buildings beside the Foth & Clyde Canal. Liaison teams have been set up to make sure applications are signed off by us before submission to ensure the scheduled ancient monument is not damaged.
