Northwich Vision

Founded in 2003, Northwich Vision is a seven partner co-operative, all of whom have signed a 'Memorandum of Understanding' to take the vision forward, aiding the historic town through an exciting renaissance. Current development proposals will harness the unique and historic character of the natural landscape, revitalising the public realm and creating a vibrant 21st century waterside development. Wales & Border Counties waterways, are working to integrate proposals, that will embrace and complement the towns waterways.

The canals and rivers will play a crucial role in the regeneration of the town centre. Current plans include the development of a new cultural quarter overlooking the River Weaver at Baron's Quay; a consolidated 'market town' retail and service sector centred on the traditional high streets of Witton Street and Leicester Street; highway improvements; and the establishment of new residential communities in the heart of the town centre.
